Delhi: Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswasti, manager at Private Engineering Institute, has been booked for allegedly molesting multiple female students in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. The self-styled Godman, also known as Parth Sarthy, sexually harassed about 17 girls. He is currently absconding, Delhi Police said. The victims are reported to be students pursuing PGDM courses under the EWS scholarship at the institute.
Statements of 32 girls were recorded in the ongoing investigation, out of which 17 alleged “abusive language, obscene WhatsApp/SMS messages, and unwanted physical contact by him.” Vasant Kunj Police have registered a case against Chaitanyananda Saraswati under different sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Meanwhile, his car with a fake UN number plate has also been impounded. Efforts are underway to track him.
Who Is Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati?
Chaitanyananda Saraswati, alias Parth Sarthy, is a manager at a Private Engineering Institute in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj area. A complaint was initially lodged against him on August 4, 2025, by the Administrator of Sri Sringeri Math & Its Properties, P.A. Murli. The Delhi baba is facing allegations of molestation at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management.
Delhi Police said, “CCTV footage was analyzed and several raids were conducted at the place of the incident as well as at the addresses of the alleged person. NVRs/ hard disks collected from SRISIIM Institute sent to FSL. Statements u/s 183 of the BNSS of 16 victims have been recorded before the Ld. JMFC, Patiala House Courts.”
Sri Sharada Peethan Severe Ties With Accused
The Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, on Wednesday, issued a public statement breaking all ties with the accused. “Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, formerly known as Swami (Dr.) Parthasarathy, has engaged in activities that are illegal, inappropriate, and detrimental to the interests of Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamsthanam Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham. Sringeri (Peetham). As a result, the Peetham has severed all ties with him. The Peetham has also lodged complaints with the relevant authorities regarding illegal acts committed by Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati,” says Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamsthanam Dakshinamnaya of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.
