Telangana IAS officer Smita Sabharwal received a legal notice from Cyberabad Police on Wednesday about her AI-generated image sharing of a 400-acre Kancha Gachibowli plot situated near University of Hyderabad UoH.
Officials at Cyberabad Police issued a notice to obtain details about social media content which spreads false information regarding this particular area. On March 31 Smita Sabharwal reposted an X picture which originated from AI-generated visual content showing excavating equipment and including two deer with a peacock.
Student protesters from The University of Hyderabad Students’ Union organize demonstrations against the Telangana government’s planned auction of this important ecological space to develop urban areas with an IT park.
