New Delhi: In a significant move for Delhi’s new governance, CM Rekha Gupta will have six cabinet ministers including BJP’s Parvesh Sahib Singh, Kapil Mishra, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa. Ravinder Indraj Singh, who won the Bawana (SC) constituency with a margin of over 31,000 votes in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, also took oath as the cabinet minister today at the grand swearing-in ceremony at Ramlila Maidan.
They new Chief Minister of Delhi and other ministers were administered oath by lieutenant governor VK Saxena in the presence of PM Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and chief minister’s of different states of the ruling NDA Government.
Who Is Ravinder Indraj Singh?
Ravinder Indraj Singh, who hails from North Delhi’s Bawana constituency pursued his higher studies through distance learning. According to reports, he holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts from the School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, University of Delhi, in 2000. His father Indraj Singh has also been elected as an MLA from the Narela constituency during his time.
The BJP leader has assets worth more than Rs 7 crore, according to election affidavit. He also has no criminal cases pending against him. A prominent Dalit leader, Ravinder Indraj Singh serves as an executive member of the BJP’s Scheduled Caste Front. He won the Bawana seat after defeating Jai Bhagwan Upkar of AAP and Surender Kumar of Congress.
