Who Is Aishwarya Sheoran?
Aishwarya Sheoran was born in Rajasthan and has always been strong in academics. She scored 97.5% in Class 12 at Sanskriti School in Delhi and later graduated in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) at Delhi University.
Her father, Colonel Ajay Sheoran, is a Commanding Officer of the 9th Telangana NCC Battalion.
Aishwarya Sheoran’s Modelling Career
Before preparing for civil services, Aishwarya was already a known face in modelling.
She won several titles, including Clean & Clear Fresh Face Delhi 2014 and Miss Delhi 2015.
Her biggest moment in modelling came when she became a finalist in Femina Miss India 2016.
Why Did Aishwarya Sheoran Leave Modelling?
Even after achieving huge success in the glamour world, Aishwarya always wanted to serve the country through civil services. In 2018, she left modelling completely and began preparing for UPSC.
She did not join any coaching institute and relied on self-study and prepared for 10 months until she cleared UPSC.
Aishwarya Sheoran Cracked UPSC in Her First Attempt
Her dedication paid off when she secured AIR 93 in the UPSC exam.
Why She Did Not Become an IAS Officer?
Even though she secured AIR 93, which could have given her the IAS or IPS, Aishwarya chose a different path. She opted for the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) because she wanted to represent India on the global stage.
Today, she works as a senior officer in the Ministry of External Affairs.
Along with her government career, Aishwarya also enjoys a strong presence on social media. She continues to inspire UPSC aspirants, students, and young women across India with her achievements and discipline.
