National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah’s swearing-in ceremony as Jammu and Kashmir CM was attended by big leaders of INDIA bloc. Lok Sabha LoP and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, CPI leader D Raja, AAP leader Sanjay Singh and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav were among the top leaders who attended the oath taking ceremony. However, the eyes of netizens have caught some other person from the recently held ceremony – Aditi Yadav, the daughter of Samajwadi Party leaders Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav.

Who Is Aditi?

Aditi Yadav is 21-year-old and is third generation of the Yadav family. She is the grand-daughter of late SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, who was popularly known as Netaji. As reported by The Print, she completed her schooling at La Martinière College and scored 98 per cent marks Class 12 exams in 2020. She is currently studying Politics and International Relations at University College London (UCL). She loves horse riding and playing badminton. She has over 229k followers on Instagram.

Public Appearances of Aditi

This is not the first time that Aditi has been spotted in the public. In Lok Sabha elections of 2024, she had campaigned for her mother and SP candidate Dimple Yadav. She accompanied Dimple to the constituencies like Mainpuri, Kannauj and appealed for vote. She even addressed the public during Samajwadi Party’s rallies. She also held door-to-door campaign and interacted with the people.

She was received warmly by the people who appreciated her gesture and nature when her videos surfaced online. She was referred to as ‘Ghar Ki Bitiya’ during the campaign in Mainpuri

Her recent appearance at the oath taking ceremony has raised speculation that she might make her debut in politics soon. During Lok Sabha Campaign, when Dimple Yadav was asked whether Aditi will join politics, she had said that everyone should take every kind of experience. Though, she didn’t give a clear answer but said that children should know about the election process.

Samajwadi Party is known as one of the political families of India, Mulayam Singh Yadav was the first one from the Yadav family to enter into the world of politics. The streak was then continued by Netaji’s brothers Shivpal Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav. Marking the entry of second generation of the Yadav family into politics, Akhilesh Yadav and Dharmendra Yadav contested elections. Dimple Yadav also stepped into politics after her marriage with Akhilesh Yadav. Continuing the political lineage, Tej Pratap Singh Yadav debuted in politics as the third generation of the Yadav family.
