Indian Railways is soaring with the inclusion of different projects. There are several projects which are going to get implemented and several projects whose construction is underway.
One such major project is Katra to Srinagar Vande Bharat Express. The train is expected to start after 20th January, 2025, as per media reports. This is another achievement for the Indian Railways. It comes under the Udampur-Srinagar-Baramulla-Rail Link Project.
This will bring a new option for the commuters who want to travel from Katra to Srinagar. This is also a good option for the people who are visiting Jammu and Kashmir for their vacation. This will make their vacation really convenient as it will save their travel time and make their journey comfortable.
This project will boost the economic growth of the Jammu and Kashmir. Not only economic growth but it will boost tourism sector of Jammu and Kashmir. It will take around 3 hours to cover the whole distance.
This will benefit the devotees visiting the Vaishno Devi Temple. The train for Srinagar departs from Delhi at 7:pm and reaches Srinagar at 8:am in the morning. This will make the devotees catch the train for Katra from Srinagar.
About The Schedule
As per reports, the train will depart at 8:10 am from Katra and will reach Srinagar at 11:20 am. On the return, the train will depart from Srinagar at 12:45 pm and reach Katra at 3:55 pm.
