Prasanna Sankar took to X (formerly Twitter) on March 23 to allege his wife Dhivya cheating on him. He said that his wife was having a relation with a man named, Anoop, for over six months. Additionally, The entrepreneur has shared few screenshots accusing his wife, of having another affair with Anoop Kuttysankaran. He claimed that Anoop’s wife shared the screenshots, revealing details of their private hotel bookings.

Prasanna Approaches High Court
Rippling co-founder Prasanna Sankar has now accused his estranged wife, Dhivya Sashidhar, of instigating police harassment and has approached the Madras High Court seeking relief. Prasanna alleges that Dhivya has filed false cases against him as part of an attempt to take their son abroad amid their ongoing marital dispute. According to him, these legal actions are a tactic to “abduct their son” and gain custody under false pretenses. His plea to the court comes as their bitter separation continues to unfold in the public eye.
As per a report by Bar and Bench, Prasanna alleged that his estranged wife Dhivya Sashidhar has filed false cases against him to ‘abduct their son’. He added that she wanted to take him abroad after they had matrimonial disputes. He said that Tamil Nadu Police is harassing him and trying to take their son away from him, and file a false kidnapping case by his wife. Justic G K Ilanthiraiyan has told the police not to harass Prasanna, as reported by the publication.

Divya alleged that U.S. authorities arrested her husband in San Francisco for soliciting prostitution. She also said that it was due to this reason, that he lost his job. Additionally, She accused him of being a “sexual pervert”. She said that Prasanna used to secretly film his assaults on women. She also alleged that she had also been a victim of his abuse. A US citizen, Sashidar has now sought help from the Chennai police, alleging that her husband kidnapped their son.
She said, “People say that children grow up in a similar way as their parents. My father-in-law has also indulged in sexual offences. He abused my mother-in-law and chased her away from home. Now I am in need of desperate help from Chennai police. Please help,” Divya pleaded in her testimony.
Prasanna Shares Wrong Photo Of Anoop
According to OneIndia.com, Anoop K M has condemned the wrongful circulation of his photographs on social media, accusing users of mistakenly linking him to the high-profile legal dispute between Chennai-born tech entrepreneur Prasanna Sankar and his estranged wife, Dhivya Sashidhar.
Addressing Prasanna directly, Anoop urged him to clarify the mix-up, emphasizing how the misuse of his images has caused unnecessary trouble. “Respected sir, please ensure that only the actual individuals involved in your case are identified. My photos are being shared on social media simply because my name is Anoop, and my wife’s name is Roshna. Kindly clarify this misinformation, or I will be compelled to file a police complaint,” he stated.
Emails And WhatsApp Screenshots
Sankar has now shared WhatsApp screenshots and email exchanges between their lawyers in a detailed thread, accusing his wife of “abducting” their son from Singapore to the U.S. and “brainwashing” him into believing his father had abandoned him.
One of the screenshots, he claimed, showed his wife had “voluntarily instructed” when he should pick up their son from her house, as per mutually agreed terms—contradicting her allegation that he took the child by force or “kidnapped” him.
He also shared an email exchange between their U.S. lawyers, which appeared to indicate both parties had agreed to a “mutual consent divorce in India” with shared custody of their son. The email outlined the division of assets and stipulated that Dhivya would receive $5,000 in monthly support. Sankar was to cover all child-related expenses under a “50/50 parenting plan.”
