West Bengal SHOCKER: Man Kills Sister-In-Law, Carries Her Severed Head To Police Station; Arrested

It has been learnt that the man killed his sister-in-law with a sharp weapon over a family dispute. The gruesome incident occurred within the Basanti police station limits in the Bharatgarh area. The accused man has been identified as Bimal Mandal.

West Bengal: In a horrific incident, a man was arrested in West Bengal after he was seen walking with the severed head of his sister-in-law. The incident reportedly took place in Basanti town, located in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district. According to News24 reporter Manoj Pandey, the Brother-in-law arrived at the police station with the decapitated head on Saturday morning and was arrested by the police.

Man Stops By A Temple

It has been learnt that the man killed his sister-in-law and beheaded her with a sharp weapon over a family dispute. The gruesome incident occurred within the Basanti police station limits in the Bharatgarh area. The accused man has been identified as Bimal Mandal. A video circulating on social media shows some locals recording the man walking alongside the road with the severed head. He even stopped by a temple for a few seconds while the locals watched in panic.

Similar Incident From The Past

This, however, isn’t the first instance when such a brutal case has emerged. In yet another similar case that occurred in February last year, a man was seen carrying his wife’s severed head in West Bengal’s Purba Medinipur district. He walked around a bus stop with her head on one hand and a sickle in the other. He even made vague and threatening remarks while a crowd gathered around him. The 40-year-old was accused of beheading his wife over a family-related issue.
