Weather Update: The third week of February is on the verge of end and the weather is showing its different colour. With the sunny day, it was expected that cold weather has gone but from Sunday evening strong cold winds decreased the night temperature. Besides this, due to the cold winds coming from the mountains, the temperature is still fluctuating.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) says that the cold has not completely gone yet and people will continue to feel the cold for the next few more days. According to MID, an increase of 3 to 5 degrees in the minimum temperature of North-West India can be recorded in the coming days.

According to meteorologists, a new Western Disturbance can knock from today, February 14. Meanwhile, due to the Western Disturbance in the Western Himalayan regions, the hill states have been receiving rain along with snowfall for the last few days. There are chances of snowfall and rain in parts of Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand even today.
Snowfall in the hilly areas is also affecting the plains. Due to the cold winds blowing from the mountains, apart from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, many areas are feeling cold.
On the other hand, the weather in Delhi-NCR remains pleasant. The winds coming from the north-west direction have made the weather here pleasant. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear today. But strong wind will blow at a speed of 20 to 40 kmph. Which will increase the chill of the people.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, rain and snow will continue in Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours. On the other hand, due to Western Disturbance, there may be rain and snowfall in the Western Himalayas from tomorrow i.e. 15th February. Meanwhile, northwesterly winds will continue at high speed from Punjab to Bihar even today. However, there may be a gradual increase in the maximum and minimum temperatures over the northwest and central parts of the country.
