Weather update: The new month of November has begun. The weather in this month will undergo a significant change. The lower parts of the mountains will get rain this month, despite the chance of snowfall in the steep portions. As a result, chilly weather will begin in the Maudani regions of North India.

IMD predicts that from today, November 1, rain will fall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Himachal Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department reports that dry northwest winds are currently coming out of the north and west and heading toward central India. After snowfall on the mountains, these winds will travel over cold regions before reaching the majority of North India with coolness.

Second western disturbance

The frost will spread from northern to central India on November 6 and 7, according to MID, as a result of two western disturbances in the region. The IMD predicts that Kashmir will experience its first Western Disturbance on Monday. Then, starting on November 1 or 2, there is a chance of rain mixed with snowfall in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal, and Uttarakhand. The second western disturbance will arrive on November 3 at the same time. As a result, on November 5 to 6, there is a forecast for significant snowfall from Kashmir to Himachal and Uttarakhand.

Dip in temperature

As a result, numerous areas in the nation, including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, and Odisha, would experience a dip in temperature from November 8 to 9.

North-East Monsoon

Meanwhile, the North-East Monsoon is bringing rain to various areas of the nation, including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, and Karaikal. These states are expected to get rain over the next three days. Rain is expected today in a number of locations, including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Andaman, Nicobar, Yanam, Kerala, and Mahe, according to the MID. As a result, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland may get rain today.

Today could see rain in several areas of Karnataka, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, and Kerala, reports private weather forecasting organisation Skymet Weather.

Additionally, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, and Uttarakhand may get snowfall in addition to rain.
