Weather Update: Heavy rains are continuing in many states of the country. From plains to hilly areas, it is raining in different states. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of the country for the next few days.
Fairly widespread/widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorm/lightning over Uttarakhand during 31st July- 02nd August; Jammu & Kashmir on 31st July & 01st August; Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh on 31st July; East Uttar Pradesh on 01st & 02nd August.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir today.
According to MID, one round of rain has passed in Delhi-NCR. Now the next round will start around August 4. After this, the period of heavy rain will continue for a few days.
According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in Gangetic West Bengal, Northeast India, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep even today. Isolated rain is likely over Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Ladakh and Rajasthan.
Whereas, according to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, today Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra, Andaman and Nicobar It may rain in some areas of the islands. ,
