Weather Update: The first week of April ended today. Pleasant weather has prevailed in most parts of the country. However, Farmers are troubled in many areas due to unseasonal rains and hailstorms. Heavy damage to wheat and mustard crops is expected due to the rains. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of hailstorm along with rain in many states of the country. Strong winds can also blow during this time.
Usually people start getting bothered by the heat in the beginning of April. But so far this year such a situation has not happened. According to weather experts, due to the continuous Western Disturbance, cloudy, windy conditions are being created and the temperature is not able to catch pace. According to estimates, from the last week of April, the heat will start showing its color and good heat is expected in May. Due to the rains in the past days, the weather has remained pleasant. But now the rainy season seems to be ending gradually in many areas. In such a situation, it is expected that now the mercury of temperature will rise gradually.
However, even today there are chances of light to moderate rains with thunderstorms in Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha. According to MID, no significant change in temperature is expected in North West India, Central India for the next five days. Along with this, there is a possibility of scattered drizzle in many areas including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Karnataka.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain is likely in parts of South and Southeast Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra today. Hailstorm may also occur in some parts of Maharashtra.
On the other hand, there are chances of rain in many states of South India today. Today light rain may occur over North Interior Karnataka, South Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala. With this, light rain is forecast in parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Odisha.
