Weather Update: Delhi-NCR residents on Wednesday woke up to heavy rains and thunderstorm. It definitely brought respite from sultry heat but simultaneously it created bundle of troubles for common people. the minimum temperature fell to 26 degree Celsius on Wednesday morning.
The IMD has issued yellow alert for most part of the Delhi-NCR regions. As per the IMD, People can face heavy to heavy rainfall, lighting and thunderstorm in many regions of the country, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal and Rajasthan.
Light to moderate and torrential rains have been lashing many parts of the country for the last two days.
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain for most of the parts of the country. According to IMD forecast, there is a possibility of light to heavy rainfall in different parts of India till July 29.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Delhi and NCR will see heavy for the next 72 hours. The flood situation in Delhi-NCR may also become serious. After the incessant the Yamuna in Delhi and the Hindon river in Noida-Ghaziabad are in spate. Due to which the risk of flood has increased in many places.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh along with Delhi.
There is a possibility of heavy rains in Northeast India as well. Widespread rainfall is also expected over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya.

According to the forecast of IMD, there is a possibility of light to heavy rain in many areas of South India today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in many areas including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana.
According to the forecast of weather forecasting agency Skymet, the country including Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Northeast India, Sikkim, West Bengal Light to moderate rain with heavy falls at many places very likely over many parts of the state.
Along with this, there is a possibility of light, moderate heavy rain at many places including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Goa, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Saurashtra, Kutch Konkan, Lakshadweep.
