New Delhi: The rains of the second round of monsoon are now proving fatal for the people. Heavy rains and floods have caused havoc in the states of the country. In many states of the country, the danger of overflowing rivers has also increased. Heavy rains have caused havoc in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha.

Monsoon is likely to return early this time in UP. However, there are chances of light rain for the next 24 hours. At the same time, an alert has been issued in some districts of Bihar on August 27-28 regarding moderate to heavy rain, thunder and thunder.

According to Skymet Weather, a private weather forecasting agency, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, parts of Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala may receive light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells of rain.

With this, rain activities are likely to intensify over Northeast India including Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Heavy rain may occur at isolated places in these areas.

Also parts of Northeast India, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, East and Central Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep Light to moderate rain is possible.

Light rain is possible over West Madhya Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, remaining parts of Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Ladakh. Light rain is possible at one or two places over Punjab, Haryana and South Rajasthan.
