New Delhi: The rains of the second round of monsoon are now proving fatal for the people. Due to the rains and floods in the states of the country, there has been a lot of destruction. In many states of the country, the danger of overflowing rivers has also increased. Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in many states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha. Many people have lost their lives due to rain and floods. Heavy rains are occurring in many areas from Central India to South India.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain in many areas even today. The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rain even today in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala.
Rain is expected in West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa. According to IMD, light rain is expected in Delhi-NCR today and tomorrow.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain with light to moderate rain may occur at some places over southwest Rajasthan, parts of Gujarat, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Along with this, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over South Bihar, South-East Uttar Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu. Light to moderate rain is possible over Northeast India, parts of Odisha, South Interior Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible at one or two places over rest of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, rest of Rajasthan, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Punjab and Haryana.
