New Delhi: It is still raining in many states of North India. There has been a severe water logging situation at many places. Rivers and drains are in spate. There is a flood situation in many districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be more rain in the state for a few days now.
According to the update of the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh on 26 September and Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during 26-27 September, 2022 may receive heavy to very light rain.

Monsoon conditions
The Cyclonic Circulation lies over Northeast Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Uttar Pradesh. It is extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level. A trough is extending from a cyclonic circulation over Northeast Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, passing through Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh and North Odisha to Northwest Bay of Bengal.

Possible weather activity during next 24 hours
According to Skymet Agency, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places over Northeast Rajasthan, parts of Delhi NCR, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Light to moderate rain may occur over parts of Punjab, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, rest of Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Konkan and Goa. Light rain is possible over Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
