WEATHER UPDATE, FORECAST: The Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted the withdrawal of South-west monsoon in next three days from some more parts of north-west and Central India, According to Skymetweather update.

According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, the weather of the western Himalayas, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat and most parts of Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal is expected to remain dry.

The weather conditions in Delhi –NCR regions remain moderate. There is a possibilities of soaring temperatures on the pretext of Diwali. Pollution level is also expected to rise.

Weather Systems:

Due to the continuous flow of north-westerly winds over Northwest and Central India, conditions have become favourable for the withdrawal of monsoon from some more parts of north-west and Central India very soon.

A cyclonic circulation is persisting over the Comorin area and neighbourhood.

Another cyclonic circulation is over the Central Bay of Bengal extending up to 3.1 Km above mean Sea level.

A cyclonic circulation is over the East-Central Arabian Sea near Konkan and Goa coast between 3.1 and 5.8 Km above mean Sea level.

Weather Activity in the last 24 hours accross India:

During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells occurred over Kerala, South interior Karnataka, Telangana, South Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at one or two places of Gangetic West Bengal.

Scattered light to moderate rain occurred over East Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, coastal Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Lakshadweep.

Light rain occurred over the rest of Northeast India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, interior Odisha, coastal Karnataka and Jammu Kashmir.

Light to moderate rain in these states

During the next 24 hours, the weather of the western Himalayas, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat and most parts of Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal is expected to remain dry.

Light to moderate rain with few heavy spells is possible over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, parts of Tamil Nādu, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over coastal Odisha and South Chhattisgarh.

Light to moderate rain is possible over interior Odisha, part of Vidarbha, north Madhya Maharashtra, Lakshadweep, part of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur.

Light rain is possible at one or two places over North Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand.
