This monsoon season India received around 8 percent more rainfall than usual, as per media reports. The average rainfall between June 1 to September 29 stood at 932.2 mm, while the long-term average rainfall was 865 mm, the India Meteorological Department said.
Delhi enjoyed clear weather on Sunday with an air quality index of 76, as per the Central Pollution Control Board. Weather experts said there is no rain forecast for the next six days in Delhi-NCR, and the monsoon will likely withdraw by the end of the week.

Kanpur Weather Update
The third day of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Kanpur’s Eden Park got washed away due to rain, a setback to many eager fans. After 35 overs were completed on Day 1, fans feared a chance of downpours again for the remaining two matches. However, the forecast shows cloudy weather for Kanpur in the coming days.
Yellow Alert Issued In Kerala
The IMD has predicted heavy rains in Kerala till October 5. The weather body has also issued yellow alerts till October 1 for nine districts in the state, including Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, and Idukki. People are requested to avoid visiting areas prone to landslides, and waterlogging during this period.
Ahmedabad Weather Forecast
For the coming week, Ahmedabad is not likely to receive heavy prolonged rainfall. However, from October 2 till October 4, partly cloudy skies are expected over the city.
