Weather Update Today: The Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted rain in many areas of the country.
The weather remains harsh in many parts of the country. Rain is still lashing heavily at many places in the country. However, the intensity of rain has reduced in some areas.
According to IMD forecast, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many places of Uttarakhand on Thursday. Also states like Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Bihar may receive heavy rainfall.

According to the forecast of the weather forecasting agency Skymet (Weather Update Today), on August 10, there may be light to heavy rains in many states of the country.
Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is very likely over Uttarakhand.
Light rain is likely over South Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Vidarbha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Today light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls very likely over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Light to moderate rain is likely over remaining parts of Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, parts of Odisha, Telangana, Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
