In this episode, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in these states till August 20.

According to the IMD’s forecast, there may be heavy rains in Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar and East Madhya Pradesh for the next three days. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh till August 20.

Due to the low pressure building in the Bay of Bengal, heavy rains are expected in many areas of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh till Sunday. The Meteorological Department has appealed to the fishermen not to venture into the sea of ​​Odisha, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.

According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, there is a strong possibility of heavy rains in Konkan, Goa and parts of Maharashtra.
