The region of Western Himalayan including Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will witness light/moderate to very heavy rain from March 11 to 14, 2024, as per India Meteorological Department (IMD). However, the weather department also predicted that there is also the possibility of snowfall in the above areas.
As far as the surrounding plains are concerned, the weather department have predicted light to moderate rainfall in the area.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be partly cloudy sky in Delhi today. The minimum temperature is likely to be 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is likely to be 29 degrees Celsius. The cold has increased due to strong winds in the morning.

Where will it rain today?
According to IMD, there is a possibility of isolated light/moderate rain/snow in Uttarakhand during March 11 to 14. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning on March 13. According to the department, there is a possibility of sporadic rain in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during 11-14th . There is also a possibility of lightning in Punjab and Haryana during this period.
It will rain in Assam-Meghalaya
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of scattered light rain/snowfall in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during March 13 to 15. Scattered rainfall is likely over Kerala, Mahe and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh today and tomorrow.

It will be hot in these states
According to IMD, hot and humid weather is likely over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 3 days, while Kerala and Mahe during the next 2 days. The day temperature is likely to be 2-3 degrees Celsius above normal.
