Congress candidate from Wayanad Lok Sabha by-poll wins the seat with a margin of 410931 votes. This is her electoral debut. She wins the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-poll with a huge margin and gets the massive victory there. Congress had a stronghold in Wayanad. Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi won the Wayanad seat but had to leave it due to his win over two seats (Raebareli and Wayanad) in the Lok Sabha Election. He left Wayanad seat which led to By-poll in Wayanad.
She has broken Rahul Gandhi’s record as she cross the lead by over four lakh votes. Rahul Gandhi won the Wayanad seat in Lok Sabha 2024 with a margin of 3.5 lakh votes.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wins the Lok Sabha by-poll seat by getting 622338 votes and with a margin of 410931 votes. The CPI candidate Sathyan Mokeri lands on second place and had received 211407 votes. BJP candidate is lost in the race for Wayanad constituency. She lands on the third spot. Navya Haridas had got 109939 votes. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra made her debut from Wayanad constituency.
The By-poll in Wayanad constituency was held on November 13, 2024. The counting of votes is completed. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra gets a landslide victory in Wayanad Lok Sabha by-poll.
Reacting on the Wayanad vote counting Businessman and husband of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Robert Vadra said that, “Priyanka is preparing to enter the Parliament now. After that my time will also come, whenever it comes we will see, but whatever the public wants will happen.”

Meanwhile in Maharashtra, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is ahead of Congress. The BJP-led Mahayuti had crossed the halfway mark while the Maha Vikas Aghadi is still trailing as per the data by Election Commission of India.
The By-polls were held in two Lok Sabha seats and 48 Assembly seats in 15 states.
INDIA Bloc is leading in Jharkhand, while the BJP-led NDA is trailing here. INDIA bloc have crossed the halfway mark here.
