World Health Day 2025: On the occasion of World Health Day today, on April 7, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his X handle to emphasize the importance of healthy life style. In his social media post, he wrote, “On World Health Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to building a healthier world.” Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also shared a video noting that the Central Government will keep focusing on healthcare and invest in different aspects of people’s well-being.
Meanwhile, PM Modi flagged several health-related issues through the video. He stated, “Good health is the foundation of every thriving society!”. Quoting the phrase, ‘Aarogyam Paramam Bhagyam’, he urged citizens to reduce cooking oil consumption by 10%. Additionally, he addressed the growing issue of obesity and other lifestyle diseases, which pose significant health risk.

What Does ‘Arogyam Paramam Bhagyam’ Means?
Aarogyam Paramam Bhagyam means ‘Aarogya hi param bhagya, param dhan hai’. This translates to “Health is the ultimate fortune, the ultimate wealth.” According to PM Modi, changing lifestyle trends are increasingly challenging for our health nowadays.
