High-voltage drama unfolded at Patna’s 10 Circular Road, outside the official residence of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi. Disgruntled supporters of the Rashtriya Janata Dal gathered in large numbers and raised slogans over growing factionalism within the party.
RJD Supporters staged a protest against Sanjay Yadav, the close aide of Tejashwi Yadav, and chanted ‘Sanjay Yadav Murdabad’ outside the residence. The activists alleged that their opinions and grassroots leaders are being ignored by the party.
The protestors further expressed that common workers are upset with the lack of transparency in ticket distribution and the party’s decisions. Security forces were deployed to manage the crowd of workers on the spot.
