New Delhi: An avalanche wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand on Saturday. A large part of snow skidded off the mountains behind the holy temple of Kedarnath.

However, no casualty has been reported in this matter so far. The Kedarnath Temple did not felt any impact from the avalanche and the vicinity of the temple was not harmed.

Giving information in this regard, Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay said that an avalanche occurred in the Himalayan region this morning, but there was no damage to the Kedarnath temple.
