New Delhi: Manish Sisodia has given his reaction to the viral video of Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain’s massage in Tihar Jail. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia defended Satyendar Jain saying that he was unwell. On the instructions of the doctors, Satyendar Jain is given physiotherapy inside the jail.
BJP trying to win election by making fun of illness
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Sisodia said that the BJP was trying to win the Gujarat and Delhi MCD elections by making fun of the jailed leader’s illness. He said there was nothing unusual in the leaked video as Jain was given regular physiotherapy after the surgery. Meanwhile, Sisodia also ruled out the possibility of sacking Jain from the Arvind Kejriwal-led cabinet.

Manish Sisodia targeted BJP
Manish Sisodia said that I do not think that any party in the history of the country has stooped to such a low level to make fun of someone’s illness. Anyone can fall ill in this country. The PM may also fall ill and require treatment.
Deputy CM said that Satyendar Jain has been in jail for 6 months. He was injured in a fall after going to jail. He has a damaged L5-S1 disc in his spine. It is on record. His vein was compressed and he was admitted to the hospital. There he had two surgeries. Nerve block was inserted after two operations. Along with this, the doctors advised physiotherapy while discharging him.
BJP released massage video
Earlier on Saturday morning, the BJP had released a CCTV footage in which Satyendar Jain was seen getting foot massage inside the jail. In the video, he is seen lying on his bed while a man is seen massaging his feet.
