WATCH | Western Command Shares Footage Of Swift Retaliation To Pakistan’s Ceasefire Breach On May 9

The Western Command of the Indian Army has posted a new video of Operation Sindoor in its social media handle ‘X’. The 54 second video begins with the tune of the “Shiv Tandav Stotram”, followed by a statement from a Jawan who says, “Ye Badle Ki Bhavna Nahi, Ye Nyay Tha,” which translates to “This was not a feeling of revenge, It was Justice. The Jawan then recounts the event of May 9, when Pakistan violated ceasefire, and how the Indian Army retaliated.

The Jawan says, “May 9 raat ko takriban 9 baje, jis bhi dushman ki post ne yuddh viram ka ulanghan kiya, un sabhi posto ko Bharatiya Sena Ne mitti m mil diya.”  The translation isOn the night of May 9, around 9 PM, all enemy posts that violated the ceasefire were destroyed by the Indian Army.”

He added that due to the retaliation of the Indian Army, enemy soldiers could be seen fleeing their post to safeguard themselves. Talking about Operation Sindoor, he said that it was more than an operation. “Operation Sindoor was not just an action, but a lesson for Pakistan, one it has failed to learn for years,” the Jawan highlighted.

No DGMO Talks On Sunday: Indian Army

Meanwhile, putting an end to the speculations around a DGMO-level talk scheduled for today, the Indian Army has denied that any such talks are taking place on Sunday. There were several media reports that suggested that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan is ending on May 18 and DGMO talk might be held. However, according to the Indian Army, no DGMO talks are scheduled today and there is no expiry date to the ceasefire understanding that was reached earlier.

“As far as the continuation of a break in hostilities as decided in the DGMOs interaction of 12th May is concerned, there is no expiry date to it,’ confirmed the Indian Army as reported by ANI.
