Former chief minister Dr. Raman Singh who has been designated as the speaker of the house, also attended the event.

BJP: Decisions and directions

With all the top leaders of the BJP coming together at the oath-taking ceremony, the party symbolizes its stronghold in the states which might work as a catalyst for the upcoming general elections in 2024.

Putting aside all the speculations about cabinet ministers, the party limited this event to the swearing-in for the three top-most legislative posts. No other minister took oath in the event. Seems like the party needs more time to spread its wings for the ministries.

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
