The Uttar Pradesh Government has approved another expressway project. Uttar Pradesh, the fourth largest state in terms of area, is going to get another gift in the form of an expressway. The route will enhance connectivity in the region. It will boost tourism and make the journey easy for the commuters using the route.
This new route will connect Mirzapur to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. The expressway will be called Vindhya Expressway and will be 6-lane. The length of the Vindhya Expressway will be 320 Kilometers.
Once this route gets opened to the public, it will take Uttar Pradesh to a new stage of development. This route will bring social and economic development to the state.
It will pass through various districts. It will connect Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra, as per media reports.
This will not only boost development in Mirzapur and a few selected areas, but it will be a good route for the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh.
According to media reports, the cost of the project will be around Rs 22,400 crore.
Another Developmental Project In Uttar Pradesh
The elevated route connecting Sector 4 Shahberi village of Greater Noida to the Crossing Republic of Ghaziabad. The work for the detailed project report commonly known as DPR has been started for this project.
The team of Central Road Research Institute has done the site inspection. Apart from this, the elevated route will give a solution to the traffic-related issues in the region.
The length and cost of this route will be out once the DPR is prepared. The route faces traffic issues during office hours. The road gets packed. However, when this elevated route gets opened to the public then it will solve traffic-related issues.
