Villager Asked For Chopper From Bikaner DM Tina Dabi, Here’s Why

Tina Dabi topped the UPSC CSE examination in 2015. She is currently posted as District Magistrate of Barmer in Rajasthan.

A villager requested a helicopter from Barmer DM Tina Dabi during ‘Ratri Chaupal’ Meeting’. The villager from Jorpura approached the officials and asked for a helicopter to commute to and fro from his home. His request shocked the officials who were present in the meeting. The officials were listening to the people’s grievances at the Atal Seva Kendra on January 28. .

The farmer told the officials that a few farmers and people have encroached the road that leads to his house and they have started farming. He faces problems commuting from his home to other places. Villager Mangi Lal said he wants a clean stretch. 

After listening to his complaint, DM Tina Dabi directed SDM Badrinarayan to look into the complaint.

The SDM inspected the spot and directed the encroachers to free the land within three days. The SDM said that a government school teacher had encroached on the stretch. He added that the administration had already removed the encroachment in the past. 

Tina Dabi topped the UPSC CSE examination in 2015. She is currently posted as District Magistrate of Barmer in Rajasthan.
