A 45-second video in which four people wearing saffron coloured clothes were busy doing “Yamuna river aarti”, widely circulated on social media platform X.
The video was posted on February 12 by a user with the caption, “It’s less than a week that Delhi got rid of Kejriwal and today the Yamuna Arti has started on the ghat in Delhi. Soon things will start improving and Delhi may become the real Indraprastha,”

As the user mentioned that things will start improving in the national capital, it attracted social media user attention, and later it was fact-checked on X, mentioning that the aarti was conducted at Vasudev Ghat, located along the western bank of the Yamuna between Yamuna Ghat and Nigam Bodh Ghat for the past one year.
Since the video without any fact-check went viral, the social media user divided and asked each other to check the community fact-check, while others praised the aarti at Yamuna.
“If Artis could clean up rivers,” said a user, while another said, “This is wonderful to see; hopefully soon Yamuna will be cleaned, and the overall impact on the city will be visible. Thankfully, the Janta of Delhi removed corrupt and thug Kejriwal.”
