Patna: The Judge of Patna High Court, Justice Sandeep Kumar, came down heavily at the Bihar police for running bulldozer over a woman’s house for her alleged connection to a land mafia.
“Kya yahan bhi Bulldozer chalne laga? Whom do you represent, the state or
some private person? Tamasha bana diya ki kisi ka bhi ghar bulldozer se tod
denge,” (Has the bulldozer started running here too? Who do you represent, the State or some private person? made a spectacle of it that you will demolish anyone’s house with a bulldozer), slammed the Justice.
The court persued the counter affidavit of the Station House Officer (SHO) and remarked that the house of the woman was demolished “illegally” without following any due process.
It said “after reading the counter affidavit, it seems that all the officials are in glove with some land mafia.”

The court said the power has given to the police station who can demolish houses of anyone by offering money in land conflicts. Anguished by it, the Justice said, “… then close the Civil Courts.”
“Bhoomi vivadon ko chinhit kar, thana ko hi power de diya hai execution karna ka? Aapka samasya hai to thana jaiye, paisa dijiye aur ghar tudva dijiye kisi ka… (After identifying the land disputes, has the police station been given the power of execution? If one has a problem then he can to the police station, give money, and get someone’s house demolished…),” the court observed verbally.

Really not sure if petitioner is innocent or not… but Judge very correctly held justice by retraining police from the execution of parallel justice.. #Bihar #judiciary for #people https://t.co/NUsauzVNDX
