What are the plans of the BJP? What are the aspirations for Modi 3.0? Where does the prime minister get his energy from? PM Narendra Modi speaks exclusively with Manak Gupta and Kumar Gaurav from News24 on all such issues amidst the Lok Sabha elections 2024.

Are you satisfied with your journey of ten years? Was it difficult?

No work is easy and in a country like India which is so diverse, there are challenges. But a person like me who thinks of step 10 while being on step 4 will never be satiated. I’m always up for the progress and development of our nation.

There are allegations that you don’t speak just on development but mostly on communal subjects.

You check all of my speeches that I’ve delivered in the election campaigns and tell me. I would appeal for channels like you to show Nehru and Indira Gandhi speeches to show how manipulation worked back then. For the economy today, check out the inflation in the era of Manmohan Singh and then see what are we providing to people through our schemes.

We opened Jan Aushadhi Kendras, Udaan Yojana, and schemes alike to facilitate medical and other facilities for middle-class and lower-income families.

When we talk about employment, we have built toilets, stations, and AIIMS in numbers like never before. How is it happening? Without people being employed in these sectors?

Today, we have more than 1.25 lakh startups providing jobs. There are schemes like Mudra Yojana, which are working for the people.

Why is PM Modi always in the mission mode?

Like a cricket match, if the initial batsmen fail, those who come later on the pitch have more responsibility. The same is true with the Indian government. There have been too many loopholes in the previous governments and I have to work to take our country at today’s pace. I’ve to make toilets and facilitate 5G services both.

I feel that God has sent me for some purpose and he only provides me with desire, capability, and energy. My other God is 140 crore Indians.

Rahul Gandhi marched hundreds of kilometres in Bharat Jodo Yatra but you still call him Shehzada.

I don’t call him Shehzada for that. I call him so because they said they’re handing over Raebareli to Rahul Gandhi. This used to happen in the era of Nawabs and not in democracy. For those who work for the mission, don’t work for ‘son’.

Mallikarjun Kharge says for PM Modi this is the last year in politics…

Yes, I said this long back in 2019 that this is his last session in the parliament.

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
