At least four people lost their lives after a bus met with an accident. The bus overturned and then fell 100 meters down in the hill.
The incident took place in Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand. 18 individuals got injured during this accident. The injured people were quickly sent to the nearest hospital for treatment.
According to the media reports, the Puri Garhwal district officials, police force and the State Disaster Response Force under the orders of SDRF Commander Arpan Yaduvanshi, left for the accident spot. The locals of the Pauri Garhwal region reached the spot to help the people who got injured.
According to the official, bus was carrying total of 22 passengers. The bus travelling from Pauri to Dahalchori. The body of the deceased were taken to the hospital.
The rescue operations in the region was carried out by the police and the locals living there. Total 18 people were rescued and got transferred to the hospital. Total five people lost there live in this incident.
Uttarakhand CM posted about this on his X handle and wrote that, “Very sad news was received about the death of four passengers due to a bus accident on the way to Kendriya Vidyalaya in Pauri. I pray to God to grant the souls of the departed a place in His feet and provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this pain.”

He further wrote that, “Relief and rescue operations are underway by the local administration and the injured are being treated at the nearest hospital. I pray to Baba Kedar for the speedy recovery of the injured.”
