Uttar Pradesh: Two men allegedly drugged a woman with sedatives mixed in a cold drink at a hotel in UP’s Shamli district before gang-raping her.
The victim, who lives in Meerut, stated in her complaint that she met a man on Instagram who claimed to be employed at a bank. He offered to assist her in securing a job at the bank.
The accused reportedly sent his friend to ask the woman to come to Dehradun with him under the pretext of a job offer. However, he did not meet her there. Later, the accomplice directed her to Thanabhavan in Uttar Pradesh, where she encountered the accused.
