Uttar Pradesh: A 16-year-old student in Uttar Pradesh, Anand Kishore, died by suicide after allegedly being scolded by his parents for spending excessive time playing video games, according to police reports. Anand, a class 10 student, was reportedly neglecting his studies due to his addiction to the game Free Fire. His mother, frustrated with his behavior, allegedly scolded him and asked him to stop playing.
Attempt to Scare Mother Turns Fatal
In a tragic turn of events, Anand, who was the only son, hanged himself in his home after the confrontation. His body was discovered by his mother when she went to check on him. However, a family member suggested that Anand’s intention was not to take his own life, but rather to scare his mother by putting a noose around his neck—a move that accidentally tightened, leading to his death.
