The upcoming Noida International Airport continues to attract major investment and infrastructure projects. As its anticipation builds, the Yodi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh Government is planning grand projects keeping the region’s growth in mind. According to reports, the vision outlines a major proposal project to develop five new cities or townships over the next decade. Additionally, the state has plans to unveil an extensive urban expansion project spanning 56,000 hectares of land.

New Agra
Tappal-Bajna
IITGN (Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida)
The upcoming cities – New Noida and IITGN, which is located near the dedicated freight corridor, will be made industrial hubs, while the Heritage City have been planned to capitalise on religious tourism and Braj culture. New Agra, on the other hand is looking to leverage tourism, hospitality and enhance the city of Taj. Meanwhile, Tappal-Bajna is set planned to transform into an industrial township.
New Noida
New Noida, spanning about 209 square km, include 80 villages: 60 in Bulandshahr and 20 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar. This new upcoming city is a crucial part of the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor (DMIC). This master plan project is expected to be completed in four phases. While 3165 hectare area will be completed by 2027, 3798 hectare area will be developed between 2027 to 2032. Thereafter, Noida Authority plans to develop 5908 hectares of land by 2032-37 and remaining 8230 hectares of land by 2037-41.
Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida
The Integrated Industrial Township at Greater Noida (IITGN) along with MMLH and MMTH will be mainly be an industrial zone comprising of a residential area. The key features of the project include a plug-and-play model with 24 hour electricity supply, an integrated security system with CCTV cameras, and LED street lighting.
Heritage City
The upcoming Heritage City, located on the pilgrim circuit of Braj region, spans 750 hectares. This project developed by the Yamuna Expressway Authority includes luxury and budget hotels (46 acres), Yamuna Waterfront, Theme-based centre (350 acres), parks, green spaces, convention centre, and more.
Tappal-Bajna
The Tappal-Bajna Logistics Park and Urban Centre, spanning 364 acres, will reportedly be built in three phases at a total cost of Rs 1,040.
New Agra
New Agra Urban Centre will be developed on 12,200 hectares of land along both sides of Yamuna Expressway. It is reportedly located between Noida airport and Taj Mahal.
