Uttar Pradesh the fourth largest state area wise is having many developmental projects undergoing. UP is going with a change in terms of development.
There are many projects which will be a game changer for the state in this New Year. The state is going to get multiple projects this new year like Noida International Airport and others.
The state will soon be getting a Film City, several expressways in the coming time. Uttar Pradesh is currently working on the major developmental projects that is going to bring a change in the state.
Noida International Airport
The Noida Airport is to be operational in April 2025. It is going to bring a major change for the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. Apart from this, the airport will save time of commuters traveling to Delhi to catch flight. After this Airport gets operational to public, they will reach Noida to catch flight instead of Delhi.
This airport will be the largest among the five largest airport in the world.
Film City In Uttar Pradesh
As per media reports, the state is soon going to get the Film City. For this the Bhutani Infra backed firm and Filmaker Boney Kapoor has submitted the master plan for the making of first phase of the Film city in Noida. They have submitted this plan to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial development Authority on December 3, 2024.
According to media reports, the Film City will be developed near Yamuna Expressway and the Noida International Airport. Filmmaker met CEO of YEIDA, Arun Vir Singh on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The new Film City near the Yamuna Expressway is to be built across 1000 acres. The first of this will cover 230 acres of land.
Delhi-Dehradun Expressway
The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway which is going to give the state various benefits like boosting tourism and economy in both the state. The total length of the expressway is 210 km. The estimated cost of the expressway is around Rs 13,000 crore.
It will save travel time of commuters by covering the entire route in 2.5 hours. The expressway expected to be operational to public in January 2025.
Rapid Rail From Meerut To Delhi
The Rapid rail which will be connecting Meerut to Delhi is likely to get inaugurated in January 2025. This will be a gift for people who will be travelling from Delhi to Meerut. It will save time of commuters and make the journey comfortable for them.
The whole journey from Meerut to Delhi will be covered in 35 to 40 minutes. The trail work for this has been completed.
