CNG Price: In the beginning of August, amidst the fluctuations in the price of crude oil in the international market, while commercial LPG cylinders became cheaper, on the other hand, the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) increased.
CNG and PNG have become expensive in Uttar Pradesh (UP), the state adjacent to the national capital Delhi.
In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the price of CNG has reached close to the price of petrol. The price of petrol in Lucknow is Rs 96.57 per liter while the price of diesel is Rs 89.76 per liter.
Meanwhile, from August 1, CNG is being sold in Lucknow at the rate of Rs 96.10 per kg. CNG has now become more expensive than diesel and its price level is close to that of petrol.
On July 31, an increase in the prices of CNG and PNG was announced in Uttar Pradesh (UP) and the new rates have been implemented from August 1. Green Gas Limited, which supplies CNG and PNG in Lucknow, increased the rates of CNG.
PNG has increased by Rs 4.75 per kg. Now the price of PNG is Rs 56.20 per kg in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
