UP Woman Dies By Suicide, Names Sister-In-Law In Final Video Before Hanging Herself

A young woman from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, died by suicide after recording a video alleging harassment by a family member.

A tragic incident has come to light from Pipra Madangopal village in the Rampur Karkhana Police Station area of Deoria district, Uttar Pradesh. A 22-year-old woman named Pooja Yadav ended her life by hanging herself due to alleged family disputes.

Before taking the extreme step, Pooja recorded a video on her mobile phone, where she accused her sister-in-law, Rajnandini, of mentally harassing her. The video was later shared on social media and quickly went viral. In the video, Pooja clearly held her sister-in-law responsible for her death.

Ongoing Family Disputes

According to reports, Pooja was unmarried and lived with her family. She frequently had arguments with her sister-in-law, which created tension in the household. Upset by the ongoing conflict, she took her own life by hanging herself from a ceiling hook in her room.

Police Action Taken

Upon receiving information, local police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem examination. Based on a written complaint from Pooja’s father, Suryapal Yadav, the police have registered a case against Rajnandini at the Rampur Karkhana police station for alleged harassment leading to suicide.
