UP Shocker: Family Claims Monkeys Took Away Infant, Found Dead In Water Drum

UP News: A disturbing incident has come to light from Sitapur district in Uttar Pradesh, where a group of monkeys took away a two-and-a-half-month-old child who was sleeping in a room. The monkeys reportedly placed the child in a drum filled with water leading to his death by drowning. The incident occurred in Surajpur. It is reported that the family members were busy with their daily chores and were unaware of the incident. They panicked when they could not find the child in the room and began searching for him.

According to reports, Anuj’s family lives in Surajpur village located in the Machhrehta area of Sitapur. On Thursday morning, his newborn son was sleeping on a cot in the room. After putting the baby to sleep, the mother got busy with household chores. After some time, when she returned to the room, she found that the child was missing. She immediately informed other family members, and they began searching for the child.

Family Claims Monkeys Took Away Infant

After a lot of searching, the family checked a drum kept on the roof of the house and found the newborn floating in the water inside it. They rushed him to the doctor, but he was declared dead. Family members stated that monkeys frequently visit their homes. In such a situation, they suspect that the monkeys may have picked up the child and dropped him into the drum.
