UP SHOCKER: B Tech Student Raped By Man Who Offered Ride Home, Police Said…

Charthawal Officer in Charge, Rajesh Dhanvat informed that the assault took place on February 21, 2025 in the evening when the victim was heading towards home from her college.

Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident that occurred in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district last Friday, a 17-year-old B Tech student who was returning home from college was allegedly raped by a biker who offered her a lift, police said. According to reports, an FIR has been filed at the police station against the accused biker and his three friends, who were involved in the act.

Providing details of the incident, Charthawal Officer in Charge, Rajesh Dhanvat informed that the assault took place on February 21, 2025 in the evening when the victim was heading towards home from her college. The accused, identified as Himanshu took the minor to a field and raped her, while three of his friends assisted him in his act.

Following the incident, the victim along with her family lodged a complaint with the police against Himanshu, Sagir, Adesh, and Siddharth, reports added. Although, a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and POSCO Act has been registered, the suspects are still not caught or located. Efforts are underway to nab all of them.
