In a disturbing video from Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, a man is seen attempting to strangle his wife, revealing a harrowing tale of betrayal and violence. The woman’s crime? She disclosed to him that she had been raped by his own brother, who allegedly filmed the assault. Surviving the attack, she recounted how her husband callously dismissed her as no longer his spouse but merely his sister-in-law upon hearing her ordeal.

The following day, the survivor’s husband, along with his brother, barged into her room. While her husband tried to choke her with her dupatta, his brother recorded the horrifying scene on his mobile phone. It wasn’t until the woman shared the video and lodged a written complaint on social media that the police took action.

Responding to the incident, authorities have filed charges under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code against the accused husband and brother-in-law at Khatauli Kotwali police station. Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan Prajapati assured that efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure legal repercussions are swiftly meted out.
