Lucknow: The police engaged in the investigation of the sensational Umesh Pal murder on Tuesday recovered a large number of weapons and cash from the office built in Atiq Ahmed’s house in Dhumanganj.
As per information, arms and caches were buried under the floor along with the walls. Police recovered it after breaking the walls and floor.
A team of officers along with a heavy police force was present during the investigation. Police had demolished the walls of each room. As per police, Multiple bundles of Rs 200 and Rs 500 notes have been recovered. Puramufti police station in-charge himself is engaged in counting the notes. The police have also caught two people who work there.

According to the police, a total of ten weapons have been found which includes nine pistols and one pistol. 80 lakh rupees have been counted so far. A large number of cartridges have also been recovered.
After the Umesh Pal murder case, Police have been raiding several premises belonging to Atq Ahmed and his aides. On February 24, three people, including Umesh Pal, an eye witness in the BSP MLA Raju Pal’s murder case, were killed by bullets and bombs.
