Uttar Pradesh: UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam starts today on Friday, previously being cancelled due to allegations of paper leaks. The five day examination process begins amid tight security. The examination on August 23 to 25 and August 30-31, will be divided into 2 shifts each day. Uttar Pradesh Police has adhered to stringent security measures to make sure that the exams are conducted without any problem.

As per ANI reports, Muniraj G., the DIG Moradabad range said that out of the 69 centers present in 5 districts of the Moradabad division, 26 are under Moradabad district. He said that they have visited the examination centers and have run checks. CCTV cameras have been installed in all the centers, he informs.

He further adds that the examination will be regularly monitored through the district control room. With the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence), face and ID verifications of the students will be done.

Police Arrangements

The five day examination schedule will see the participation by as many as 48,17,441 candidates. Police arrangements were on place today during the first shift from 10 am to 12 pm. Security is also ready for smooth conduct of another shift to take place today from 3 pm to 5 pm. Proper traffic arrangements are also made at major bus stands, railways and metro stations.

Security Protocols

Nine static magistrates have been assigned with responsibility of monitoring the examinations closely to prevent cheating and other related acts. Todays’ first shift witnessed rigorous security protocols to ensure transparency and fairness during the exams. Students were asked to remove their shoes, bracelets and other unwanted stuffs before sitting for the exams. The previous examination conducted for 60,244 constables on Feb 17-18 was cancelled due to paper leaks.
