The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested a man for filming a bathing woman at a hostel in Azamgarh.
According to NDTV, the accused has been identified as Himanshu Rai. Police said Himanshu was living in the same hostel with his family in Heerapatti colony and had been involved in such acts for a year.
Police further stated that a Class 10 student spotted the camera and alerted other students, who finally nabbed the man with their help.
As per reports, the accused had been threatening girls that if they lodged a complaint, he would make the videos viral.
Police said they have seized 40 pornographic videos from his mobile phone and laptop.
A senior officer confirmed that the girls nabbed the man red-handed and that several videos were recovered from him. He added that the accused is being questioned and the electronic devices have been sent for forensic examination.
