A 40-year-old man lost his life after his wife allegedly pushed him from a roof in Uttar Pradesh. According to NDTV, the couple had a fight that turned ugly. The deceased has been identified as Dilshad.
Family alleged wife shoved husband
As per the report, Dilshad came home and asked his wife, Shanno to serve him food. A verbal spat took place between them. The family alleged that she shoved him from the roof and he fell. He was taken to hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
Dilshad’s sister claimed that Shanno did not like her husband and the two had often engaged in fights.
Dilshad’s mother blamed Shanno
The victim’s mother alleged that Shanno had been speaking to someone regularly for hours for the last two to three years. She claimed Dilshad’s wife had left home in the past, but her son, Dilshad got her back. She said she lost Dilshad because of Shanno.
Dilshad was alcoholic, claimed wife
On the other hand, Shanno rejected all allegations levelled by Dilshad’s family members. She said Dilshad was an alcoholic and he jumped from the roof. She said Dilshad came drunk on the fateful night and jumped from the roof. All the allegations are false, Shanno added.
Dilshad’s family lodged a complaint against her with the police. The cops have taken Shanno in their custody.
Police launch probe
A senior police officer said the victim’s body has been kept in a mortuary and they have arrested Shanno. The police launched a probe into the matter.
Man killed wife, son
In a separate incident, a man from Assam allegedly killed his wife and three-year-old son in Ayodhya and fled from the spot, police said.
The woman was allegedly killed by a sharp weapon, whereas the child was strangulated, a senior police officer said, adding that the hunt is on to nab the accused. The family has been living and working here in the Bachhda Sultanpur area of Kotwali Nagar, Ayodhya, as scrap collectors for the last 8 months.
