A man approached the Uttar Pradesh police and then went home to confront his wife with his lover in Uttar Pradesh’s Mauranipur. The man had apprehension that he might be killed and his body kept in a drum, similar to the Saurabh Rajput murder incident that took place in Meerut.
Pawan is posted in Mahoba
The man, Pawan, is employed in the health department and posted in Mahoba, and his wife Ritu Verma is a clerk posted in a government girls’ college. The couple has a six-year-old son.
Pawan learned about his wife Ritu’s affair
Pawan learned about his wife’s affair with local councillor Abhishek Pathak. He decided to live separately while his wife was living with his son. He came to know that Abhishek was present at his home. He approached the police on 112 and went with them to the rented accommodation to confront them.
Video of the Dramatic Confrontation Goes Viral
A video of the incident went viral on social media. Abhishek tried to heckle a few people who were filing the incident. In the clip, the cop asked Abhishek and Ritu to come to the police station.
Earlier, Ritu did not open the door. The police managed to get the gate opened and questioned them.
Pawan told cops that he could be murdered
Pawan told the cops that he and his son could be murdered. He alleged that Ritu could give them poison and dispose of their body in a drum, similar to the Saurabh Rajput Murder case. Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla allegedly killed her husband, Saurabh, dismembered his body and sealed the body parts in a drum filled with cement in Uttar Pradesh’s Indiranagar.
