Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s grandson died by suicide at his residence in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The deceased, Aarav, reportedly left a note.

According to a report by The Times of India, Aarav had a note in his pocket and urged his family members to check the messages he had written before his death.

Sinha’s nephew Alok Mishra lives with his wife Divya, daughter Manya, and son Aarav in Kanpur’s Kohna area.

Aarav, a Class 11 student, was with his grandmother when she went to call him to his room. The door was locked from the inside. When her calls went unanswered, she sought help from the neighbours. After the door was broken open, Aarav was found hanging from the ceiling fan.

Aarav’s family had gone to Bhagalpur to celebrate Chhath. The family was left in shock upon hearing the news of his death. Alok Mishra is the maternal nephew of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
