UP: How Monkeys Turned Saviour For 6-Year-Old Girl As Rape Attempt Foiled In Baghpat

The police are investigating the case and tracking down the accused. They appealed to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the accused.

A bunch of monkeys entered and shielded 6 years old girl in Baghpat Uttar Pradesh from a rape attempt. After the incident parents filed a complaint against a man who was charged under the POCSO Act, the accused is on the run and still not caught by the police.

The girl was playing near her home when the accused person hidden near attempted to lure her away. However, the monkey, who was observing this situation, noticed the helplessness of the girl and intervened. According to reports, it is stated that the monkey ran after the accused and scared him thus saving the girl.

Community Reaction

The turn of events did surprise local villagers. They were relieved, but the heroics and timely intervention by the monkey were appreciated. “We are thankful to the monkey for saving the girl,” said one of the villagers. The incident is currently being debated in the community, and most people shared the news on social media.
